Stray FX™ is a new animation and VFX studio based in Prague and I was tasked with creating a brand identity and web design for them.

I ended up with a simple and non-logo centric approach that was based on the studio name and the meaning of the word "stray."

As a result, I positioned the "Fx" part of the logo separately from the "Stray" and by using a monospace typeface and various grid setups, I developed clever design rules for all applications. To emphasize that the studio specializes in VFX and animation, I utilized the common wide movie aspect ratio of 2.39:1 for all imagery and videos.
